In addition to his law degree, Joe holds a doctorate degree in economics and was a Professor of Economics at Dartmouth College. He is a member of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council and has decades of experience in matters of taxation concerning businesses and individuals. JOHN C. RANSMEIER. John is also a founding member of the firm. He received a Master's Degree in Taxation in 1986 from the Boston University School of Law and has served as the State Chair for the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He is a lecturer and author on matters concerning taxation of indivi-duals, trusts and estates. John is also a member of the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council and has extensive experience in tax matters involving businesses and individuals. JEFFREY J. ZELLERS. Jeff has handled complex tax matters for business and individuals, both at the planning stage and in resolving clients' disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration. Jeff began his practice of law in Boston with a firm which focused on the practice of tax law for businesses and individuals. He received his Master's in Taxation in 1986 from the Boston University School of Law and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court. Jeff has written articles and lectured on matters of tax and business law to professionals and the public. He is a member of the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Bar, the tax and business sections of the New Hampshire Bar Association, the Tax and Business Sections of the American Bar Association and is a member of the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council. THOMAS N. MASLAND. Tom has considerable experience in planning for the ownership, control and transfer of real estate in a tax advantageous manner. He has written and lectured frequently on matters involving taxes and planning for the control and transfer of family-owned real estate and conservation planning. He is the founding chair of the Elder Law Section of the New Hampshire Bar Association, an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council. LISA L. BIKLEN. Lisa's practice focuses on the administration and taxation of trusts and estates and upon Federal estate, generation-skipping transfer tax and gift planning, including the use of charitable annuities and remainder trusts.
