Before joining Ransmeier & Spellman, Dom was Executive Secretary of the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission.

Born on June 25, 1944 in New Haven Connecticut, Dom now lives in the town of Hopkinton, N.H. with his wife Angelyn who teaches mathematics at a local private high school. Dom's daughter Kristen, graduated from Providence College in 1994 with an A.B. degree in Spanish and teaches Spanish in Bridgeport, CT. Dom's son Mark, graduated from Union College in 1998 as a Mechanical Engineer and works for General Electric Power Systems Division in Schenectady, New York.  His daughter Lisa, graduated from the Boston College as a biology major, received her Masters in genetic counseling from Arcadia University and currently works as a genetic counselor at the Boston University Medical Center in Boston.

Dom served as School District Moderator for the Town of Bow, N.H. for 24 years, has been President of the Bow Rotary Club and has served as chairman on a variety of Town Study Committees.  Dom is a founder of the Bow Republican Committee, Chairman of the Merrimack County Republican Committee, and a member of the Executive Committee of the State Republican Committee.  Dom serves on a civic education task force a the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at St. Anselm's College.

Dom is a past Trustee of the Derryfield School, N.H.'s only independent day school, and President of the Smithfield Condominium Association.

Dom is a telemark skier, plays the piano and guitar, and also enjoys biking and golf. Dom is an avid hiker. He and his son have climbed all 48 peaks in N.H.'s White Mountains over 4000'.

 

Education: Boston College, A.B. Economics, 1966; Suffolk University Law School, J.D., 1969.

Bar Admissions: New Hampshire and Merrimack County Bar Associations since 1970; two term president of the County Bar, 1988-1992.

Professional Activities: Executive Secretary of the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission 1973-1978.

Concentration: Public Utilities Law, Administrative Law, and Government Relations Practice.
