Garry practices general civil litigation including
personal injury, employment, business, and aviation litigation
Garry R. Lane was born in
Rochester, New Hampshire on May 14, 1954. As many of the litigators in the firm have done,
he attended the litigation training program of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
He practices general civil litigation including, personal injury, employment, business, and aviation
litigation. A large percentage of his cases have been in federal court. In aviation, he
represents only the defense, including aviation insurers, manufacturers, pilots, FBO's,
and airlines, but in other cases he represents plaintiffs and
defendants. Garry has a special interest in severe burn injury cases. In addition to litigation, he also represents several small businesses in
miscellaneous general legal issues.
Garry is an active
member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, serving as a member of its
Continuing Legal Education Committee, past member of its Board of Governors,
and mediator/arbitrator in the Dispute Resolution Committee. He is
Chairman of the Business Litigation Section of the New Hampshire Bar
Association. Garry also
volunteers his time to represent clients through the Bar Association Pro
Bono Referral Service and DOVE, an organization which provides legal
assistance to women and children dealing with domestic violence. He is
Co-chair of a holiday food basket program that provides food at Thanksgiving
and Easter to the less fortunate.
Garry, his wife, and children
live in Concord. He is a licensed instrument rated pilot and also flies sailplanes. He is
a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots
Association, the Soaring Society of
America, the Experimental Aircraft
Association, the International
Aerobatic Club and the Lawyer-Pilots Bar
Association. |
