John M. Cunningham

John is of counsel to the firm.  He was born in Sacramento, California on October 10, 1940.  He practices in the fields of corporate, tax and contract law and business transactions, with a special focus on limited liability company (LLC) formations. He is the author of Drafting Limited Liability Company Operating Agreements (Aspen Law & Business 1999). He teaches courses and seminars on LLC law and taxation as an adjunct professor of law at Franklin Pierce Law Center and to lawyers and accountants in public and private seminars nationwide.

John is married to Martha Flynn, a registered nurse specializing in labor and delivery and post-birth nursing care. He has two daughters, Grayson and Dana. In his spare time, John loves to read, to listen to classical music and to visit places of interest in New England and elsewhere with his family.

Education: Fordham College (B.A., Classics, 1963); Fordham University (M.A., Classics, 1965); and the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D., 1971)

Bar Admissions: District of Columbia Bar in 1971, the Massachusetts Bar in 1987 and the New Hampshire Bar in 1990.

Professional Activities: past chair of the Corporate Section and past president of the Tax Section of the New Hampshire Bar Association.
