Matt is the New Hampshire State Representative to the Defense Research Institute

Born on June 27, 1961 and raised in Guilford, Connecticut, Matt attended Brown University and studied for 6 months at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England. Matt graduated cum laude from the Case Western Reserve University Law School in Cleveland, Ohio where he was a Law Review Editor and a research assistant for International Law and Commercial Law professors.

He is a member of the Merrimack County and New Hampshire Bar Associations, the New Hampshire Pro Bono Divorce Panel, and serves as New Hampshire State Representative to the Defense Research Institute (Products Liability, Governmental Liability, Economics and Management of Practice Committees.)  Matt is a Past President of the Daniel Webster Chapter of the American Inns of Court.

In the community, Matt is a Director of the United Way of Merrimack County and active in the St. Andrews Church in Hopkinton, New Hampshire.

 Matt's general practice includes litigation in all state and federal courts, counseling businesses and municipalities, risk management training, worker's compensation, education and the occasional divorce case.

Matt, his wife Tracey, and daughters Elisabeth and Madison reside in Hopkinton.  In his spare time, Matt enjoys fresh and salt water fly fishing, family camping, hiking and biking with Elizabeth and Madison, and eating Tracey's gourmet meals.  Annually, Matt runs with a long distance relay team in 195 mile Hood to Coast Relay in Oregon.

Education: Brown University, 1983; University of East Anglia; Case Western Reserve University Law School.

Bar Admissions: Merrimack County and New Hampshire Bar Associations.
